The man they called Rayzor Ray Palmer was a generational superstar that led teams in Houston and Toronto to 5 collective Victors Cups. He is considered to be one of the top 5 greatest players to play in the MLH and widely regarded as the best player of his era. There wasn't anything he couldn't do and adapted his career to fit what was needed of him. Early in his career his was an explosive goal scorer leading Houston to two Cups. Upon his signing a free agent in Toronto he became a play-maker, setting up players and raising the level of all around him which netted him back to back Cups (3 straight and 4 in 5 years for him personally). After a short stay in Seattle, where he led the Sasquatch to their first and only Final appearance, he returned to Toronto to served as a middle six forward contributing valuable minutes shutting down the oppositions best scoring threats. His last season in Toronto, having lost a step and now playing winger instead of his familiar center position, he became a veteran mentor and guided the Spectres to another cup. In a fitting end to an illustrious career Palmer raised the Victors Cup above his head one last time and skated off into the history books.
